A real plug-and-play turntable, no adjustment of tracking force nor anti-skate are needed – they’ve taken care of that at the factory!
 
The straight, ultra-low mass tonearm is just right for the OM5e so you also need not concern yourself with unwanted tonearm resonance. All you need to do is remove it from the box, remove the bearing guard, install the drive belt, remove the stylus guard, and plug it into your phono input or outboard phono preamp. The only plastic here is the stylus guard!
 
The hidden secret to Elemental’s sonic success is the central gravity mass point, made from artificial stone and placed directly underneath the platter bearing. This feature draws unwanted rumble and vibration away from the tonearm and cartridge so that what you hear is more music, less noise.
